Product Description

This specialized line processes rigid or flexible PVC (polyvinyl chloride) waste into high-quality recycled pellets. Designed for industrial scrap, construction materials, and post-consumer PVC products, it transforms waste into reusable material for manufacturing pipes, cables, fittings, and profiles.
The system integrates granulating, extrusion, and precision pelletizing while addressing PVC’s thermal sensitivity. Advanced temperature control and stabilizers prevent degradation, ensuring consistent pellet quality. Ideal for circular economy goals, the line reduces waste and supports sustainable production.

Key Features

Thermal Stability Control: Multi-zone heating/cooling systems prevent PVC degradation during processing.
Material Flexibility: Handles rigid PVC (uPVC) and flexible PVC (with plasticizers) without reconfiguration.
Corrosion-Resistant Components: Hardened barrels, screws, and dies withstand acidic byproducts.
Additive Integration: In-line systems for adding stabilizers, lubricants, or pigments during extrusion.
Fume Extraction: Activated carbon filters and ventilation systems capture chlorine gas emissions.
High-Efficiency Granulator: Shreds PVC waste into 3–6 mm granules for uniform melting.
Twin-Screw Extruder: Ensures thorough mixing and homogenization of PVC with additives.
Precision Pelletizing: Die-face or underwater cutting produces 2–4 mm uniform pellets.
Energy Recovery: Heat exchangers reuse excess thermal energy to reduce power consumption.

Process Workflow

Sorting & Inspection: Removal of non-PVC contaminants (metals, rubber) via manual or automated sorting.
Coarse Crushing: Shreds bulk PVC waste into 20–50 mm chunks.
Fine Granulation: Reduces chunks into 3–6 mm granules for consistent processing.
Drying (Optional): Removes moisture for humidity-sensitive applications.
Additive Mixing: Blends granules with stabilizers, plasticizers, or colorants.
Extrusion: Granules are melted, homogenized, and degassed in a twin-screw extruder (160–200°C).
Pelletizing: Molten PVC is cut into pellets via water-cooled die-face or underwater systems.
Cooling & Dehumidifying: Pellets are cooled and dried to <0.5% moisture content.
Screening: Vibratory sieves remove undersized or irregular pellets.
Packaging: Pellets are bagged or stored in silos for industrial reuse.
