How the High Speed Mixer Works
- Material Loading: Plastic powder or granulate materials, along with additives such as stabilizers, lubricants, and colorants, are loaded into the hot mixer bowl.
- High-Speed Blending: The impeller rotates at high speed, generating friction heat that raises material temperature while achieving thorough, uniform mixing.
- Temperature Monitoring: Sensors continuously monitor bowl temperature. When the set temperature is reached, the control system triggers automatic discharge.
- Transfer to Cold Mixer: The hot, blended material is discharged into the cold mixer where a cooling jacket rapidly reduces temperature to prevent agglomeration.
- Cooling & Discharge: Once cooled to the target temperature, the finished compound is discharged and conveyed to the extruder, pelletizer, or storage silo.
