Higher Speed Mixer

The SUHUI high speed mixer is a versatile industrial blending machine designed for the rapid mixing, heating, and drying of plastic, rubber, chemical, and food-grade powder or granulate materials. Using a high-speed rotating impeller, it generates intense friction and shear force to achieve uniform blending in a fraction of the time required by conventional mixers.

Typical applications include the production of PVC dry blend, filling and modification of plastics, pre-mixing of compounding processes, and preparation of Wood-Plastic Composite (WPC) premixes. The machine is widely used in plastic pipe, profile, and sheet production lines as an essential upstream processing unit.

SUHUI high speed mixers are available as standalone hot mixers or as a combined hot/cold mixer system. The hot mixer heats and blends the material while the cold mixer rapidly cools it, preventing agglomeration and preparing the compound for direct feeding into extruders or pelletizers.

How the High Speed Mixer Works

1. Material Loading: Plastic powder or granulate materials, along with additives such as stabilizers, lubricants, and colorants, are loaded into the hot mixer bowl.
2. High-Speed Blending: The impeller rotates at high speed, generating friction heat that raises material temperature while achieving thorough, uniform mixing.
3. Temperature Monitoring: Sensors continuously monitor bowl temperature. When the set temperature is reached, the control system triggers automatic discharge.
4. Transfer to Cold Mixer: The hot, blended material is discharged into the cold mixer where a cooling jacket rapidly reduces temperature to prevent agglomeration.
5. Cooling & Discharge: Once cooled to the target temperature, the finished compound is discharged and conveyed to the extruder, pelletizer, or storage silo.
